Hopefully, the cage rest is to ensure that she mends properly. The anemia is diet related and she will get supplements to deal with that. The anemia has caused her to draw calcium from her bones which leads to the fractures and general weakening of the muscles. |

Thing is she appeared one day out of some bushes and the next thing I knew she was on my shoulder. I have had cats before (still feed up to six of them here)but sometimes for no real reason something clicks between you and an animal. She was just being independent and curious when for some reason she made a mistake.It was tough lifting her off of the road, all still and warm. Our little routines all over in the blink of an eye. They get into your heart don't they.
