Young Mochi pondering things. We were playing monopoly on the weekend, and today she knocked a little green house onto the floor and chased it under the fridge. Little scamp.

I'm sorry about your kitty, Jimmy. The same thing happened to one of ours and I know how distressing it is. We normally kept our cats indoors, but Dodo refused to stay in and would actually shit on the floor right in front of the door if we didn't let her out, the little fucker. Anyway, yeah, one night she got a bit too curious about what was beyond our quiet little street. Someone called the number on her tag to let us know, otherwise we'd have just found her there the next day.
Take care, J

My Phoebe just got an extra hug because of this. She's looking at me as if saying "What the f**k was that for? Now feed me. Again! Now!"
Gotta love'em.
Really sorry for your loss Jimmy.

we had to take our oldest cat to the vet yesterday as she was bleeding.
getting the results tomorrow. could be cancer, bladder infection or kidney related. she's 16 now, so an old girl.

That is old for a cat. I've just started letting my little girl into the backyard. The other night, I heard her start to get into a fight and rushed outside to get her. She's only been an inside cat until this week. The mean streets of Eugene would eat her alive.

we have an older cat that's around 16 too! I think the rag doll is what's keeping him alive. she's afraid of everything in the world EXCEPT him. she gives that boy a workout.
I'm a dog person but we can't have one right now. I love and adore cats and hope to always be able to host at least one. this should give you some idea of what a hole not having a dog leaves. the cats sure do a LOT to fill it. cats are so god damned entertaining and such good company.
this isn't our Buff but it's pretty close.
no name was sticking until she started catching crickets and she became Buffy the Cricket Slayer. she's since moved on to Lizards.

There's this TV ad on now for anti-allergine medicine and one of the actors plays a cat lover. I hate the guy - he looks like one of those ultra-sensitive cat lovers. Some of us wear baseball caps and sleeveless tees, ya know. I want to punch the guy below - but I'd ask him to put down his cat first.

Sorry about the pic size. These are the little babies I literally picked up off of the road. They are all a little bigger and ready to leave the safety of our home. That's the problem. Our local shelters are full and cats are so common if you want one hang around for ten minutes and you can take your pick. What am I to do with them? I cannot keep them and the road outside already cost my last kitten it's life , even the street smart ginger tom was taken out crossing the road last week. They need to live but I cannot keep four cats and the road will almost certainly get them. They are a bundle of joy and energy but I don't have the room to keep them safe. How best to safeguard their future?
